Depending on your specific needs, we offer a few types of removable restorations:
Our trusted dental laboratory will use these impressions to fabricate a wax mockup of your denture. You will come in for a "try-in" appointment to test the fit, look, and feel of the wax model. This allows you and Dr. Park to make any necessary adjustments to the tooth color, shape, or bite alignment before the final denture is cast. Once your permanent denture arrives, we will ensure it rests comfortably on your gums and provides a strong, secure bite.

Finding the Right Solution for Your Smile
Modern dentistry has come a long way, and today’s dentures are nothing like the bulky, unnatural "false teeth" of the past. We use high-quality, lightweight acrylics and modern ceramics to create prosthetics that are highly customized to your unique facial structure.Depending on your specific needs, we offer a few types of removable restorations:

Full Dentures
Read More
Full dentures are designed to replace all teeth in either your upper arch, lower arch, or both. These custom appliances consist of a complete set of artificial teeth set into a gum-colored acrylic base, creating a seamless and natural-looking smile. They rest directly on your gums and are held in place by natural suction or denture adhesive, restoring your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

Immediate Dentures
Read More
Immediate dentures are a convenient solution that allows you to have a full set of teeth immediately after extractions. They are fabricated in advance and placed the same day your remaining teeth are removed, so you never have to go without a smile. While they provide immediate aesthetics and help protect healing gum tissue, they may require more adjustments as your gums heal and shrink.

Implant-Supported Dentures
Read More
For unparalleled stability and comfort, implant-supported dentures combine the best of both worlds. These dentures "snap" securely onto a few strategically placed dental implants in your jawbone, offering significantly improved retention compared to traditional dentures. They provide exceptional chewing power and prevent the bone loss that often occurs with conventional dentures, enhancing your quality of life.

Partial Dentures
Read More
Partial dentures are ideal if you still have some healthy natural teeth remaining. These custom appliances fill the gaps created by one or more missing teeth, preventing your existing teeth from shifting out of alignment. They consist of replacement teeth attached to a gum-colored base, often with a subtle metal framework or flexible clasps that gently hold onto your natural teeth for support.
The Benefits of Modern Custom Dentures
Choosing to restore your smile with a custom full or partial denture offers incredible benefits for both your physical health and emotional well-being:- Restored Function: Chew a wider variety of nutritious foods and speak clearly without slurring or whistling.
- Facial Support: Dentures provide essential support to your lips and cheeks, preventing the sunken-in look that often accompanies missing teeth.
- Aesthetic Confidence: Your new teeth will be custom-shaded and shaped to complement your facial features, giving you a radiant, natural-looking smile.
- Cost-Effective: Removable dentures are one of the most accessible and budget-friendly ways to replace multiple missing teeth at once.
The Custom Denture Process
Creating a denture that fits perfectly requires meticulous planning and artistry. During your initial consultation, Dr. Park will thoroughly examine your gums and any remaining teeth. We will then take highly precise digital impressions of your mouth.

FAQs

How long does it take to get used to wearing new dentures?
It is completely normal for new dentures to feel a bit strange or bulky for the first few weeks! Your mouth, tongue, and cheek muscles simply need time to adapt to the new appliance. You may also experience minor speech changes or increased saliva production initially. Reading aloud and starting with softer foods will help you adjust much faster.
How do I clean and care for my dentures?
You should remove and gently brush your dentures daily using a soft-bristled denture brush and a non-abrasive denture cleanser (regular toothpaste can scratch the acrylic). Whenever they are not in your mouth, they should be kept moist by soaking them in water or a mild denture-soaking solution to prevent them from warping.
Should I wear my dentures while I sleep?
No, we highly recommend taking your dentures out every night before bed. Your gum tissues and the underlying jawbone need time to rest and recover from the pressure of wearing the prosthetic all day. Leaving them out overnight also helps prevent fungal infections and irritation in the mouth.
Will my dentures look like obvious fake teeth?
Absolutely not! Dr. Park takes great pride in the aesthetic design of your restorative work. We carefully select the size, shape, and shade of the artificial teeth to look incredibly realistic. We even customize the acrylic base to match the natural color and texture of your actual gum tissue.
